Alex Forden grew up among wooden boat builders and New England craftspeople and trained in Industrial Design, Sculpture and Finance. He cut his teeth apprenticing in his uncle's woodcarving shop, eventually working for a prominent design-build firm in New England.

Forden & Co. is the culmination of many years of vision, ingenuity and sweat. It is nothing without the wide network of craftspeople who make actual magic. From nothing to something in every way.
